HotRod Genius

When you need advice really fast...

Brakes on hotrods and performance cars are a serious issue. If you are going to install a new system or if you want your system improved/corrected then this is the place.

You can get a conventional system, a conventional system with manual proportional balance control, or a custom system with separate resoervoirs for each end of the car and with proportional control for each system, as well as side to side if that’s what you are after.

This is an ECI power brake conversion system, one of the products we use here.

Custom pedal locations and components can be made to fit your application.

Most of the cars that come into the shop have brake issues. That’s not he place where you want problems.

Tip:

Change brake fluid on a regular basis. It attracts moisture from the atmosphere which can damage your expensive braking system. And choose the correct fluid for your application. Choosing fluid for its boiling point is one good property to have on your side. The bloing point should be listed on the can and will show boiling point when wet and when dry. Ford’s over the counter fluid is one of the highest for a DOT 3.
